I cannot believe I am this happy about a dust mop / mop, however, this really is an incredible product!I am the one responsible for cleaning all of our hardwood floors, which used to be a very tiring process. We do have a roomba, which helps with the day to day vacuuming, however, having a cat that constantly sheds hair EVERYWHERE is difficult to keep up with.I would generally only wet mop the floors every month or two, as needed, using a water and vinegar solution, which works great at cleaning, without damaging the floors. I had been using one of those hardwood floor cleaning mops, which use the terry cloth pads over a rectangular plastic mop head. I would spray the cleaning solution onto the floor, then mop. By the time I was done, maybe 30-45 minutes later, I was so tired and my back was killing me (I am 6’3″ and the mop I was using did not have a very long handle). I would also go back and notice that while the floor was cleaner, it still wasn’t really clean, with debris still here and there. So, I figured I needed something better, and was going to buy a swiffer sweeper for dust mopping, but then saw this and thought this might be better since I could do both dry dust mopping and wet mopping with one device. Boy am I glad I got this!!!The day it came, I broke it out, attached the dust mop head and away I went. Within a couple minutes I had done the whole floor and it was debris-free (not cat hair or debris anywhere.) I then switched to the wet mop pad and did as directed; wet the pad, then wring out well. I used my same cleaning solution and was amazed at how much faster and better I could clean the floor! I was done in maybe 10 minutes tops and the floors have never looked so good. I also did not have to spray cleaner nearly as often, as the pad seems to hold a lot more solution. The mop is rock-solid and best of all, I can adjust it to my height, so when I finished my back was not killing me!The pads are very high quality and easy to clean. After dust mopping, I took the entire thing outside, removed the pad and shook it out. When finished wet mopping, I just washed the pad out in the sink, wrung dry and done. This one is a winner. Wish everything was designed and built this well. I expect this should last a long time.

My house is mostly hardwood floors. I have a German Shepherd, a cat and an active & outdoorsy family. What this amounts to is hair and grit on my floor all the time. I used to be okay with sweeping or vacuuming once every couple of days but when my daughter started crawling earlier this spring at the same time my dog blew his winter coat, I had to start sweeping multiple times a day.My morning routine, before I could set my baby down, involved sweeping on my hands and knees with a whisk broom while simultaneously balancing her on one hip. The trouble with any kind of broom is that it just pushes the hair and dirt into little piles; the tiniest bit of air current and the hair redistributes itself all over the floor again. It didn’t take long for this to get really frustrating and hard on my back and knees, especially while trying to hold a squirming baby!Knowing I was at my wit’s end, my parents bought me this microfiber dust mop. Let me tell you it has revolutionized my cleaning routine!! It takes me 3 or 4 minutes to do what it was taking me 20 minutes to do before. The handle is nice and long so I can stand upright and save my back. The texture of the microfiber head traps hair and fine dirt and dust unbelievably well. Plus, this mop cleans with a gliding motion, not a sweeping motion which helps to not agitate dust and fuzzies into the air. No more hair flying around like with a traditional broom! The swiveling action and slender shape of the cleaning head allow me to get into corners, under the cabinet kicks in the kitchen, and under furniture in the living room and library. As one reviewer stated, it does not trap larger particles so I just push those into one pile and pick them up with a dust pan.I have to add that I have only ever used this dry for sweeping so I can’t attest to its mopping abilities. Also, I recommend buying a couple of extra cleaning heads. I have three in rotation so I always have a clean one handy. They wash incredibly well and work like new after a spin in the washing machine. Sometimes I put them in the dryer and sometimes I don’t. It hasn’t made a difference in performance either way.I can’t recommend this tool enough for ease of use and fabulous end results!! Now I have more time to spend playing with my little girl on a nice clean floor. :)P.S. Like so much that is available for purchase these days, this mop does not feel “disposable”. It feels fairly sturdy like it will actually hold up over time, an important factor for me as I hate needless consumption and waste.

After struggling with a traditional dust mop for years in a house with all hardwood floors, I purchased this dust mop at the local Walmart. It is so EASY to clean my floors now!!! Dust and cat hair just cling to it (unlike the old mop), you can’t even shake it off!!! My floors have never been cleaner!!!The reversible pad is somewhat like an inside-out sock, and I don’t find it difficult to put on or take off. The pad wraps around the bottom of the mop to form bumpers, which is great because it allows you to clean into corners and under furniture without scratching or denting anything!!! Great for stairs too! It is also very low-profile so it reaches easily all the way under couches and beds. When you are finished, simply wash and dry (only no fabric softener or itwill cause the pad to lose some of its ability to cling to the dust).I’ve been using this product now a few times a week for two months and haven’t even had to buy a new pad yet. It washes and dries just like new!If you have hardwoods – this is a MUST HAVE. It has saved me so much timeand work. I enjoy cleaning my floors now, and my house has never been cleaner!!!

Have the Swiffer, but it pushes fur and dirt around more than it cleans up. My specific interest in the Linkyo is about my laminate flooring. You can’t get laminate flooring too wet for too long, best to do the whole job in small areas at a time. I wanted something damp and applicable to cleaning with my almond floor cleaner that I could rinse out as needed and then dry mop/sweep for daily cleaning. Washing the pads is a big deal to me. I do not like having to buy refills/disposable products. Too expensive and not environmentally friendly, plus you have to make sure you never run out in case you need it (you know, like when you wake up in a cleaning frenzy mood). The padding has a nice thickness so it ‘hugs’ the floor and walls rather than just passing over them. Cushy works better than an unyielding surface (like Swiffer). I’m un-tall, so the extender is a real bonus when cleaning walls/ceilings. This is much easier than any mop or appliance when cleaning up the kitchen floor. I also like the clips that hold the pads. Much better than the push-in-holes that often come out or can break a freshly manicured nail. Highly recommend this, for hardwoods and laminates, actually all hard surface flooring.

- Refill for M-005 Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop.
I originally bought the Scotch-Brite mop and cover some time ago, and later purchased two more covers from Amazon. We have a tiny terrier who hates snow and cold. Because you can’t tell a dog to pee in different places depending on season, we pad-trained him, He has his pad in a room with vinyl on the floor, so it’s an easy clean. But the rest of the house is floored with a beautiful Hickory hardwood. Now, our little guy goes where he is trained to, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t sometimes (often… usually) pee on his forepaws. Then he tracks his stuff through the house. We call it ‘pee-pee feet’. Ugh. So, we use this mop cover (with the Scotch-Brite mop – doesn’t fit others) with a Bona cleaner to get rid of the pawprints, as well as any other dust, dirt, footprints, etc. Does a great job. Recall I said I have three covers. When one gets dirty, it gets dropped in the laundry room for washing. The original one we bought has been washed countless times and, while it doesn’t look its original pristine lime green completely, it does wash up easy, goes back on the mop, and really doesn’t look the worse for wear. Still fits the mop well, is still soft and non-scratching, still cleans up the pee-pee feet. I think the original cover is around three years old now and still in use.No reservations at all about recommending a simple and effective cleaning tool

I have found microfiber mops to be the best at cleaning a variety of floor types. The mop pads cloth picks up even the smallest amount of dirt and only a small amount of water-cleaner solution is required. I use a spray bottle filled with organic cleaner I mix myself to mist the floor before going over it with a microfiber pad. I use a new pad for each floor section in my house and simply wash them in warm water for the next use. I used to use traditional sponge mops and water but found that they weren’t really cleaning my floors, nor smelled fresh, and left slippery messy wet floors behind.I began using the Revel microfiber mop system, but after replacing the mop base/handle 3 times (about every 6-9 months due to weak spots that snapped in the handle) I began my search for another product. The Bona mop handle is simple and doesn’t have complicated connections that lead to breaking that the Revel mop handle has. Also, this mop handle is less expensive than the Revel mop system.I can use a variety of mop pads, including the Revel mop pads, with the mop base because it has the same velcro type surface which most microfiber mop pads attach to.I am really happy I found this product and I will continue to use this mop in the future. Even if it does break I would replace it with the same mop because it is the best microfiber mop base I have found. Also, the mop pads are the real expense to this system so it wouldn’t make sense to buy something completely different.I highly recommend this mop system. You will need to purchase a spray bottle and floor cleaner of your choice. There are lots of resources on the web to help you find the best floor cleaner solution for your floors. I also recommend you purchase enough pads for the amount of floors you will clean at one time so that you don’t have to stop and wash pads before finishing cleaning all of your floors. I use about 1 pad per tile or wood floor room in our home.

What’s worse, mopping or vacuuming? I’ve never been much of a fan of either. I did the whole Swiffer thing which never worked as I have tile floors. The mops would just go over the grout lines and clean the tiles (not always very well). So over time, the grout lines would get nasty. And really, I’m just not that big of a fan of using a toothbrush to clean grout lines. If that is your thing, I wish you well. But most of us have too much going to get that crazy about getting tile and grout clean. Yet we go crazy with guilt if company comes over and we imagine they are judging us. Am I the only one who feels this way? I care but not enough to do anything about it? Should this much time be devoted to the subject of floor tile grout, anyway?Yes, it should. Because I actually got my floors cleaned without getting my hands dirty. And the grout did get clean. Part of it was my strategy, but mostly it was the the mop. It was not a wimpy Swiffer. Not a rangy nasty string mop. It was not an old bath towel.I used this mop, and it came with three fabric style heads. The backing is completely velcro, so it sticks to the base mop flat portion entirely and not in one spot only. And there’s no fabric to stick into little holes (unless you want to, it provides the holes if you buy a different fabric portion), the entire piece sticks to the mop.One mop head is for dust-mopping, one is more a light cleanse, and the one I used for my nasty grout floors I would call the jackhammer. It has enough depth to clean into the lines instead of sliding over. What I did on this first use of the mop was to spray a mixture of lemon juice, baking soda, and hot water on to the grout lines first and let it sit (that doesn’t normally work entirely but with the new mop I was trying an old trick). After ten minutes, I mopped with only a hot water/dish liquid solution. Killed it. Nailed it. The grout was clean. I used the jackhammer mop head and it really dug into the grout.Doing it with the lemon juice solution before didn’t cut it, this combination was great. So a big plus for me is the three different tops to choose from, all included. The base can maneuver around toilet bases and lights and anything in the way. The handle has various heights, at 5’6″ I found the perfect height that I didn’t have to bend too much and hurt my backIn all, this was a great set. I did get it at no charge to review as it’s a new product. However, if anything, I would have warned you off if were bad (and there have been many bad mops!). In any case, with Amazon’s return policy, you are safe if you hate it.

This works great as a wet mop, and even better as a dry mop. Having discovered the steam mop http://www.amazon.com/Shark-Steam-Pocket-Mop-S3501/dp/B0028MB3HM/ref=sr_1_5?s=vacuums&ie;=UTF8&qid;=1453857775&sr;=1-5&keywords;=steam+mopI find that this works absolute perfectly for sweeping up the floor before mopping. It picks up and moves everything including sand from our shoes. The sand and crumbs can be easily picked up. This green microfiber can be vacuumed with my hand vacuum, and thrown in the washer when needed. It’s so quick and easy to use.

My wife always insisted if you want clean floors you have to get on your hands and knees, and use a cleaning rag and a bucket of soapy water to do the job! Mops and buckets she added were to be only used for quick cleaning. So our children were taught to clean the floors by hand and that is how it was until we moved to a bigger house. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try something new. I have to say we have tried steam mops, swifters and other conventional mops but they all fell short of our expectations. I found “Spin Mops” for sale on Amazon.com and there are many to choose from. Seeing those spin mops that use a pedal to convert mechanical motion into axial motion, if the all parts are not made of heavy gauge metal I just know from the type of work I do for a living, the pedal system will eventually fail.Which brings me to why I chose Mopnado’s product. When I first considered a spin mop, the most important factor I had to consider will it withstand the punishment my teenage boys will give it? Mopnado’s Spin mop was the clear choice because it had one clear design feature I liked: INTEGRATION. The mop handle is the power source of the spin system, while the length of the handle is fully adjustable. The Spin Dry Barrel and the Wash Agitator are built into the bucket insuring no parts go missing. My order arrived neatly packaged from Amazon.com in a certified shipping box, all that was needed for assembly was the mop head holder to the handle and the mop. The Mop handle provides the power source for the spin barrel and agitator using a mechanism similar to a ratcheting drill, but operates smoothly. When filling the bucket with water, be sure to fill up to the required “Fill Line” mark on the inside of the bucket. Failing to do so will decrease the performance of the Spin Barrel and the Agitator making for poor results. Using the bucket agitator is easy by lowering the mop head onto the agitator until it fully seated, making sure the mop handle is straight up (not at an angle). Then grasp the mop handle firmly and pump downward a couple times the mop head will spin in the water dislodging dirt and debris. This beats wringing the mop by hand. The Spin Dry Barrel is also easy to use, place the wet mop head into the barrel using the same downward pumping action will get the mop head damp for quick cleaning and fast drying or leaving it wet to deal with stubborn floor stains. Moving the bucket as you work from one area to the next is easy, the heavy duty rim handle for room to room, while the retractable folding handle for longer distances. The bucket has one built-in wide wheel to insure it will roll over any bumps without tipping over. Lastly the Mopnado comes with two mop heads, although they are machine washable the added mop head is a bonus. The Mopnado Stainless Steel Deluxe Rolling Spin Mop was an immediate hit with our family! No more cleaning the floor using my wife’s old fashion way, even my wife loved it and said it cleans very well. I like the built-in cleaning solution dispenser, I only wish it could be snapped into place from the top instead of having to unscrew it from the underneath the Spin Dry barrel shroud. The Agitator is an evolutionary design in cleaning a mop head, no more hand wringing or ratchet twisting. Just engage the mop head unto the pyramid shaped agitator and give a few downward pumps and the mop is clean! The same action for spin drying the mop head just a pleasure to watch that you want to do it again! What I appreciate is the manufacturer’s attention to small detail, for example they incorporated a drainage channel around the opening of the Spin Dry Barrel to catch the dripping water and have it run back into the bucket, and this focus on details is followed through every aspect of the Mopnado that makes it a wonderful product for our busy household. Floor spills are no longer a hassle to clean up, and keeping our tiled floors spotlessly clean is easy to maintain on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend this Spin Mop to everyone.I have to add if the user is 5′-11″ or taller you will need Mopnado’s handle extension, it adds 11-inches to the length of the mop handle.UPDATE: FEBRUARY 2, 2015From a 5-star to 2-star rating: I purchased this product in May 2014 and it worked fine, until December 2014. The handle would no longer work to spin the dry barrel or cleaner as I pushed the handle down. I have tried to contact the manufacturer of Mopnado and Marlow’s Mercantile the seller I purchased it from, hoping to purchase replacement handles for my Mopnado. No response. Disappointed, they said the Mopnado is suppose be better quality than the other spin mops? Fast to take your money, but no customer support.UPDATE: MARCH 2, 2015In the first week of February Kevin from Mopnado made contact with via email, and I ask him if I could purchase replacement handle for my Mopnado. He said he would do so once I sent him the information of my purchase receipt from Amazon.com. He renewed my satisfaction in his company and their product when he sent me a new mop handle free of charge! My sincere appreciations to Kevin. Keep up the good work and prompt customer service.

A couple of important tips that will save you a lot of headache; trust me.1.Put the mop face on the lower half first, then put the pad on the face, that’s out of the sequence from the sheet, but even Bona recommended that change in sequence when I spoke with them.2. Insert the lower half of the mop handle into the upper half aligning the slots and press it in as far as it will go easily, then……3. Put the mop’s head face down on the floor and have the two loosely assembled halves of the handle straight up and down from there and then push down hard, very hard, until they not only slide completely together, but until you ALSO hear a click; no click means you’re not done. I pressed with I’d say 25 pounds of pressure (no click) and was afraid of breaking it so I called them, and they “said press harder, lots harder.” Having the mop head on the lower half stabilized it for you to apply that kind of pressure. It just took a lot of force and I’m not a puny guy. Once that snap is completed the little plastic collar can slide up against the upper half where it stays. The final verification other than the click is that the trigger no longer hangs limp in the handle, you know it’s latched onto something at this point.4. When I inserted the fluid bottle after uncapping it, it seemed to snap in and it did spray but then petered out quickly, so I pressed it in again and it got some more which it sprayed out and then quickly ran out again. It turns out it’s the same deal with the bottle, you have to press way harder than you think you should have to for it to really be bottom-seated and locked. Once it is in, really in, the spraying will be consistent until the bottle is empty. So my bottom line to you is, when pressing components together in this mop system, use more than a reasonable amount of force they’ve designed it that way.As a side note about this mop handle once snapped together it’s designed for the two halves to never come apart which means if you won’t be able to send it back in it’s original carton. The original carton is 28″ long, the assembled mop almost 52″ long. The fluid container is refillable so it will pop out and once refilled you will need to press it in hard again.I liked the way the pattern of the spray fanned out, way out, and out in front of the mop, for normal that’s great. If you need to wet the area closer to the mop head simply tilt the mop handle straight up and then spray and it will go immediately in front of the mop head, neat. I like the Bona products and I recommend that’s what you refill this with. Another thing, I suppose you could mix-up some home batch of 409 and water, but if you decide to do that use distilled water. This spray fans out as good as it does because the spray nozzle isn’t fouled up with any minerals from the local hard water. Better still is to stay with Bona products, and for your Costco members a gallon refill jug of the Bona cleaner hovers between $9-something and $11-something less than half all other places. It’s just me, they don’t say to do it, but I placed a zip tie through the fluid bottle handle and around the mop handle and zipped it snug. I did that so that, especially when it’s full, the top heavy bottle in the moping process is held fast in place and doesn’t have any tendency to move around. That may be why they made it snap in hard, but zip ties are cheap, and when I refill I will just snip my zip and apply a new one. Happy mopping.PS: It occurs to me with a different microfiber face (Amazon sells variety kits) you could fill the bottle with Windex and do your hard to reach windows. Also if your windows were mineralized from garden sprinkled spray or whatever instead of Windex you could use a De-Scale It product before the Windex. The fact this mop handle is made this well makes other possibilities possible. The only thing I cant say because I haven’t tried it is how many sprays it will make if you have it inverted (pointing up) using it for window cleaning as I suggested. Ask me again in a few weeks and I’ll know.
